Yes. Tuya Smart Life, ONVIF Profile S, and direct RTSP stream can all be active simultaneously. Each access path operates independently: RTSP is always available even if the Tuya cloud is unreachable. RTSP stream URL: rtsp://[device-ip]/stream0 (main 1080p). This dual-mode architecture allows integration with both Tuya-based smart home platforms and professional NVR/VMS systems from the same device.

Yes, up to 8 simultaneous smartphone recipients per button press via Tuya app. For buildings with 12 or more units requiring individual apartment call routing, we recommend upgrading to the D801 SIP door station with a full SIP PBX server — this provides unlimited unit scalability, individual per-unit call routing, and integration with existing PBX infrastructure. The D4R85M is optimised for small residential buildings (2–12 units) and STR/Airbnb properties requiring simple Wi-Fi installation.
The D4R85M supports IEEE 802.11 b/g/n on the 2.4GHz band. 5GHz Wi-Fi is not supported — this is typical for outdoor IoT devices as 2.4GHz provides better range and wall penetration for entrance installations. For reliable performance, the Wi-Fi access point should be within 15–20 metres of the doorbell with no more than one concrete wall between them. A dedicated IoT SSID with WPA2 security is recommended. Assign a static IP or DHCP reservation to prevent connectivity loss after lease renewal.
The D4R85M supports two power options: 12V DC (via included power adapter, requires low-voltage cable run to the installation point) and PoE 802.3af (via Cat5e/Cat6 cable from a PoE switch or injector, providing both power and network in a single cable). The D4R85M-S variant adds a solar panel option for installations without cable access — solar panel provides continuous charging in locations with 4+ hours of direct sunlight per day. For STR and retrofit installations where cable runs are impractical, the solar variant eliminates the need for any wired connection to the doorbell.
