Short answer: Identify the PMS, reservation events, user records, credential format, door groups, expiry rules and access-event callbacks. Then match that workflow to the lock platform's API, SDK, webhook or partner connector.
Define the handoff
- Which PMS creates or changes the guest identity?
- Where are mobile keys, PINs or cards generated?
- How are check-in, check-out, extension and cancellation handled?
- Which system owns audit events, offline fallback and first-line support?
Test the failure path
Include network loss, duplicate reservations, expired credentials, room moves, battery warnings and manual override. A logo-level compatibility claim does not answer these operational questions.
